Jewellery Care
To ensure you jewelry stays in good shape, remove your jewellery before showering, applying lotions, washing your hands, or engaging in activities where it may be exposed to knocks and scratches. Metal rubbing against metal is especially harmful. It is always best to take your jewellery off before sports, workouts, or gardening.
Apply perfume, hair products, and cosmetics before putting on your jewellery. Avoid prolonged contact with chemicals, lotions, or cleaning products, as they can damage metals and weaken stone settings.
At-Home Care
The simplest and safest way to clean your jewellery is with mild soap and warm water:
- Mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water.
- Soak your jewellery for 20–30 minutes.
- Gently brush with a soft toothbrush, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water.
- Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
For delicate gemstones, such as pearls, use only a soft cloth.
We also recommend taking your jewellery for professional cleaning from time to time. Having your piece checked every 1–2 years ensures that stones and settings remain secure and in perfect condition.
Store each piece separately in a Neljemark jewellery box to avoid scratching.
All of our jewellery is crafted from precious metals—gold or silver—and we use only genuine diamonds. This ensures that your piece retains its value for generations to come.
